The calm before the storm... Superficially, the oak tree appears dry. Underneath it, the drainage pipes tell a different story... Needless to say, civil engineers have once again been activated to investigate the proper elevations that will get the water away from the tree.

And here it is, the completed fritted glass mock up! With all the correct glazing and fritted pattern placed in the right layers of this storefront composition, we are able to prevent views from outside in without shielding and compromising the views from inside out. Although not the first use of fritted glass in Baton Rouge, our approach has been to introduce a graphic solution to the lower part of the storefront system (where privacy is needed) without extending it to areas


Grey skies, endless rain.
It has been a hot and wet summer, and so, water continues to pond in front of the property backing up and flooding the oak tree. It turns out, the problem was not caused by a simple clogged city drainage pipe after all. Water has been making its way back to the site in what seems to be its natural course towards the ditch along the train tracks in the back. Civil engineers and arborists have been called to duty so we can come up with a plan that can be put into action right a
